What Happens to My Stuff When My Reflectivity Team Expires?

If you are a Reflectivity team owner or admin and your team has expired, access to management team features is no longer available. You can upgrade at https://cloud.swivl.com/upgrade within 30 days.

❗️IMPORTANT:


Team is deleted 30 days AFTER expiration.

​​​✉️​ Reflectivity team owners, admins, and team members will be notified via email at 30 days and 7 days about the termination and deletion of all content.

💡To avoid deletion of their account and content, members can contact their team owner to be released from their active team or, if their team has already expired, they can email support at support@swivl.com. When released, they will be a free user and fall under the free user termination rules. Note: if the free user hasn’t used the Reflectivity platform for a year, he/she will receive an email that the account is going to be terminated in 30 days after being released from the team. Expired_Reflectivity_team.pngIf you see the following message, that means that your Reflectivity team has expired. If there is no such yellow notification and you no longer have access to Reflectivity team features, you might have been removed from your Reflectivity team - check out this article for more information. 


To comply with state and federal privacy laws, all team data and team members' content will be deleted 30 days after the expiration date. 

 

To avoid deletion of content, members can email support to be removed from the team. In this case, they will be a free user and fall under the free user termination rules. Note: if the free user hasn’t used the Reflectivity platform for a year, he/she will receive an email that the account is going to be terminated in 30 days after being released from the team. To avoid account termination, user should start using the platform again and log in before termination. Any terminated account cannot be recovered. 

If you recorded the videos before joining the team, those videos will still be in your Videos tab and you'll be able to edit, trim, and leave time-stamped comments on your videos as always. 

More details about what happens to your stuff when your Reflectivity team expires and won't get renewed within 30 days:

  • Any videos that you have recorded after joining the Reflectivity team will be deleted. If shared with others via direct share, share to group folders, embed, or weblink, they will no longer be available.
  • Any videos that you have recorded before joining the Reflectivity team and shared with others via direct share or share to group folders will still be available for your recipients to view in their Shared with me Videos tab
  • Any videos have been shared with you by members of the expired Reflectivity team will no longer be available

*NOTE: Reflectivity team members CANNOT be removed from an active Reflectivity team without contacting their team owner or admin for authorization. Reflectivity team owners and admins are solely responsible for authorizing changes to team membership of the active team.
