Sharing Videos on Teams Web

When you upload a video to your Swivl Library, it remains private in your Library until you have chosen to share the video. However, as a Team Member, all of your videos are visible by Team Admin.

There are following options to share videos available on Teams by Swivl Platform:

  • Sharing an unlisted weblink allows you to share videos out of Swivl Platform with anybody. Non-Swivl users can watch video as well. Therefore, this method is not private or secure.

    IMPORTANT: Do not share the URL that is in your browser's address bar.

    As a reminder, this is the only Sharing option for Free users, so when you share via a web-link, the recipients with whom you share the link won't be able to leave comments directly on the video.

    To generate a weblink, please follow the steps:

    1. Find the video you wish to share in Library;
    2. Click on  the ‘Share’ icon;
    3. Select ‘Weblink’ option;
    4. Click on ‘Copy web-link’.

    To duplicate a video, please follow the steps:

    1. Find the video you wish to duplicate in your Library;
    2. Click on three dots;
    3. Select ‘Duplicate’ option;
    4. Give duplicated video a name;
    5. Click on ‘Duplicate’.
