🔎 What Is the Difference between Tap for Magic and Hold to Speak in M2?

Available for M2 trial, MirrorTalk M2, and MirrorTalk Pro (the first 60 days) users

"Hold to Speak" and "Tap for Magic" are available in M2 AI session that you start by tapping on "Start" button from your personal space on M2.

Once the session is started, you will see a violet button at the bottom of the screen that changes between "Tap for Magic" and "Hold to Speak".

"Hold to Speak" allows you to ask M2 do explain something, to provide and example, to evaluate something with your own words. You need to hold the violet button during all the time as you speak for M2 to capture everything that you are saying.

"Tap for Magic" will prompt M2 to summarize or provide insight about what is happening during session. Tap once lightly to see the input.

👉 A single tap always starts "Tap for Magic", while a long press always activates "Hold to Speak"—you don’t need to wait for the animation to switch between them.

You can also use "Hold to Speak" and "Tap for Magic" during 📖 M2 Guided Mode.
