🔎 Sign-In Options in MirrorTalk & M2

MirrorTalk and the M2 device offer several ways to sign in. Below is a quick overview of each method and what to do if your account was created by your team.

Single Sign-On (SSO) – for team/school accounts

If your school or organization uses SSO, choose “Sign in with SSO” and log in with your institutional credentials (the same email you use for other school systems).
No separate MirrorTalk password is needed.
To learn more about SSO setup and use, see our How to Set Up SSO for M2 and MirrorTalk

Sign-In on the MirrorTalk Web/App

💡 Using the mobile app is the easiest and fastest way to access your account on an M2 device!  For the app, first download the MirrorTalk app on your mobile device - iOS/Android

Whether you're using MirrorTalk on the web or in the mobile app, you have several sign-in options.
Besides email and password, you can also sign in with:

  • Email + password

  • Google/Apple/ClassLink/SSO Sign-In

If you forgot your password or previously only used Google Sign in and now would like to use a regulra email and password, click Email Log in button and use the Forgot Password option and follow the steps to set/reset your password.

M2 Login options

Scan with the MirrorTalk App

This is the fastest and easiest way to sign in on the M2 device, and it keeps you logged in:

  1. Log into the MirrorTalk mobile app, and it will keep you logged in.

  2. On M2, choose the QR sign-in option.

  3. Scan the QR code using the scanner inside the mobile app.
The M2 will sign in automatically.

M2 Login – Email Code

If you can’t use the mobile device with the MirrorTalk app:

  1. On M2, click "Use your email" button and enter the email linked to your MirrorTalk account.

  2. The device will send a one-time code to your email.

  3. Enter the code on the M2 to complete the login. You can request a new code every 15 minutes.

If you don’t have another device to check your email inbox, but you know your email and password for your MirrorTalk account, tap the “I don’t have another device” button. You will then be prompted to enter the email and password you set up for your MirrorTalk account.

If Your Team Admin Registered an Account for You

If your school or organization creates your account for you, you will receive an invitation link for your first login. You can log in using any option available to your registered email — for example, if your school uses SSO or Google, you can sign in directly with those methods.

If you prefer to use an email-and-password login, set a password by using the “Forgot Password” as your first step.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If one method fails, try another (email login → Google → password reset).

  • Make sure you use the same email your team used to register you.

  • If you cannot receive emails, ask your IT team to allow messages from MirrorTalk/Swivl.
