M2 Reflections

📖 Working with Groups and Activities in M2

M2 organizes your teaching around two key concepts: Groups and Activities. Understanding how these work together helps you get the most out of your M2 experience.

What is a Group?

A group represents a class or section of students you teach. Groups help you:

  • Keep teaching activities organized by class
  • Track student participation over time
  • Assign reflections to specific groups of students
  • Review feedback for a particular class

Examples of groups:

  • "Period 1 - English 10"
  • "3rd Grade - Room 204"
  • "AP Physics - Block A"

Creating Groups

To create a new group:

  1. Navigate to group management from the main menu
  2. Select "Create New Group"
  3. Enter a descriptive name for your class
  4. Configure settings and add participants as needed

Managing Multiple Groups

M2 supports multiple groups per teacher. This is helpful when you teach:

  • Multiple sections of the same course
  • Different subjects throughout the day
