Available for M2 trial, MirrorTalk M2, and MirrorTalk Pro (the first 60 days) users
During your lesson an educator can personalize the M2 session experience for your students. Use secondary remotes with type C headset connected to enable students hear a real-time 30-second summary.
This is helpful if the student missed some part of the lesson or has difficulties understanding the language and can catch up in their native language.
Select the language for the in-ear lesson summary
First of all, start your M2 Activity and open settings by clicking on the Activity title at the top of the screen. Now find the In-ear Audio section => Participant summary and select the language your student feels comfortable with to listen to your lesson summaries:
! Please note that so far you can only select one language for all your secondary remotes. Soon you will be able to select different languages for your secondary remotes, stay tuned!
Instruct the student to use their secondary remote
Turn on your secondary remote and connect Type C heaset for the student.
Now, once the student clicks the secondary remote button, M2 provides a summary in the language you select in the M2 Activity menu under the Participant summary option.
The summary playback is stopped after short-pressing the button one more time.
The summaries can be played in all your secondary markers simultaneously for different students.
If a student requests a summary within 30 seconds of the last one being played, the same summary will be played again.
See all summaries provided to students
The summary with a remote icon will be displayed in the chat.
